Sector Gear

Spur Gear
The 42CrMo/SCM440 spur gear is produced through CNC turning, CNC hobbing, heat treatment, polishing and blackening. JVAN’s current published description states that integrated turn-and-mill machining is used to improve precision and control swing, supporting smoother high-speed operation and lower noise.
The detailed spur-gear section lists HRC42–47 for the current version and HRC33–38 for the previous version. The same published description states that the blackening process adds almost no measurable surface-layer thickness, helping avoid a dry-feeling coating between the meshing surfaces.

Bevel Gear and Shaft
The bevel assembly combines an MIM bevel gear plate with a separately produced CNC-machined 42CrMo/SCM440 shaft. Both sides of the bevel gear and its inner bore are precision machined to reduce swing associated with lower-precision MIM surfaces.
