The gear shaft is produced using CNC turning, CNC gear hobbing, and straight grain rolling processes. The heat treatment process of the bevel gear and gear shaft is hardened to HRC42-47 and HRC39-42 respectively. The teeth of the gear shaft are relatively thin. In order to avoid brittle fracture, the hardness is slightly reduced to obtain better toughness. In addition, we also specially customized the tool parameters for the gear shaft to try to increase the width of the teeth and try to improve the toughness.
